I was driving on my way home from work. I live in the country so their is very little to no light polution at all. I saw this ball over the tobacco fields on a dark country road so it was very visible for me. I came home and told my husband I had just seen the brightest and longest lasting falling star I had ever seen. I called it a falling star because of it fell from about mid sky almost straight down into the horizon with very little angle at all

Napomene
It was a trail of not as bright smoke it looked like. As the seconds went on it faded but it was brightest at the meteor and then it scaled to very full and then non-existent. By the time the ball hit the horizon the trail following it was also gone
