I’ve seen lots of shooting stars before (thanks Yorkshire dales dark skies!) but this was very different, looked much ‘lower’ very distinctly orange/yellow and much bigger. It was very quick and I think I was just lucky to look up at the right time (I was trying to spot the street’s resident owl). My horizon levels might be a bit sketchy as it was just above a large tree I was looking over the top of so hard to reference to the horizon. I’d be very interested to have it confirmed as a fireball sighting

Illuminated train that slowly faded (over up to about 10 seconds), train also had an orange almost glittery glow (although the glittery might have been more my shock at seeing it I suppose!)
