There was a cloud-like trail the appeared in a part of the path of the meteor. I noticed it immediately after the meteor disappeared, and stayed long enough for both my girlfriend and I to point and comment on it.

As it was going across the sky, both my partner and I noted a flash seemingly directly above us (south of the meteor) that we both commented on right after.
